LEGAL / TERMS
Tirly Terms of Service
Tirly is not operated under a registered company name in this document; these terms apply to the Tirly service at tirly.xyz and its Discord application.
Key points
A plain-language summary, not legally binding. The full text below prevails.
- Tirly is free for communities and players. A paid API is coming soon; its price will be announced before anything is charged.
- Your account is created with a passkey and you need to link a Discord account.
- XP, ranks and badges recognize participation; they are not money.
- Stellar records are on the test network (testnet) and have no monetary value.
- Do not fake activity or farm XP with extra accounts.
What changed in version 1.3.0
- Music: by default Tirly shows live the song you are listening to on Spotify while it plays (“Now playing”), without saving any history. History and music stats start only when you turn music on with /tirly music on or with the "Show music on my profile" switch in Settings; turning it off stops them and deletes your history and top genre.
- Music genre is classified per artist with AI (Google Gemini); we do not send who listens. Only the artist name reaches Gemini; it is no longer tied to your music setting. Google (Gemini API) is listed as a provider in the Privacy Policy.
- We clarified what we send Gemini for recommendations: only the ordered list of your most-played artists and songs.
Version 1.2.1
- To use Tirly, you now link your Discord after creating your passkey. Sign-in is still with a passkey.
- Players who hide their name now appear as Hidden player instead of ANON. No change to what data is collected or how it is used.
Version 1.2
- You create your Tirly account with a passkey; linking Discord afterwards is optional.
- A Discord account is now optional; a passkey is enough.
- Stellar records are described as being on the test network (testnet) throughout the text.
- Pricing note: Tirly stays free for communities and players. A paid API is coming soon; its price will be announced before anything is charged.
Version 1.1
- Names are shown on public lists by default; you can hide yours at any time.
- New Discord command to hide your name without a Tirly account: /tierly nombre ocultar.
- The API is coming soon; it is not a paid product today.
- Stellar records are on the test network (testnet).
01 Who we are and what this document is #
Tirly (“Tirly”, “we”, “us”) is an independent service available at tirly.xyz and through a Discord application. These terms govern use of the Tirly Discord app, the website, and related services (together, “the service”).
By creating a Tirly account with a passkey, joining an event, or installing Tirly on a server, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Tirly is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or operated by Discord Inc. or by the publishers of the games mentioned in the service.
02 What Tirly does #
- Detects what is played in Discord servers where it is installed, for community statistics and public lists (see the Privacy Policy).
- Lets server owners and moderators create game events.
- Recognizes participants with XP, ranks, and badges in a profile that can follow them across communities.
Tirly records participation, not in-game skill or match results. The activity Discord shows is a signal that you took part, not cheat-proof verification.
03 Requirements to use Tirly #
- Create a Tirly account with a passkey and link a Discord account, which is required; comply with Discord’s terms and community guidelines.
- Meet Discord’s minimum age in your country (13 or older). If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian.
- Use one account per person.
04 Your account #
Your Tirly account is created with a passkey. You then link your Discord account, which is required to use Tirly. You are responsible for the security of your passkey and of any Discord account you link, and for activity carried out through them. You may delete your Tirly account at any time by writing to pau@telluscoop.com.
05 Rules of use #
You must not:
- Fake game activity, use tools to pretend you are playing, or otherwise falsify participation.
- Use multiple accounts, or other people’s accounts, to farm XP, badges, or ranking positions.
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against others in or around an event.
- Try to access other users’ data, interfere with the service, bypass technical limits, or scrape data at scale.
- Use Tirly for illegal activity or activity that breaks Discord’s rules.
If you break these rules, we may remove XP, badges, or ranking positions, suspend your participation in events, or close your account, depending on severity.
06 Events #
- Events are created and run by each server’s owners or moderators, not by Tirly. They set the game, date, and rules.
- Your participation counts when the organizer confirms it. If you disagree with a confirmation, raise it with the organizer first. Tirly may review clear abuse cases, but does not arbitrate every event.
- An event may be rescheduled or cancelled. In that case, XP and badges are not awarded for that event.
- Tirly is not responsible for what happens inside a game or inside a Discord server.
07 XP, ranks, badges, and ranking #
- XP, ranks, and badges are participation recognitions. They are not money, have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, and cannot be sold or transferred.
- Badges and XP for an event are granted when the organizer confirms your participation. They do not expire while your account exists.
- When you claim a badge, Tirly may anchor a verification record on the Stellar test network (testnet). That record is not a payment, token sale, or financial instrument.
- Your rank depends on your total XP and never drops. The ranking shows accumulated XP.
- We may correct XP, badges, or positions if they were awarded by mistake or in breach of these terms.
- We may adjust XP rules and ranks. If a change affects you in a material way, we will give notice first.
7B Free product; API coming soon #
- The Tirly product for Discord communities and players is free.
- A paid API is coming soon; its price will be announced before anything is charged. It will not mean we sell personal data.
- API customers must not use exported data to build advertising profiles or to re-identify people beyond what Tirly already shows under the Privacy Policy.
08 Server owners and moderators #
If you install Tirly on a server, you represent that you have permission to do so and you agree to:
- Inform members that Tirly is installed and what it does. The bot posts a notice on install; do not remove it without replacing it with an equivalent notice.
- Use statistics only to organize community activities. Do not try to re-identify individual members from aggregated figures.
- Confirm participation in your events in good faith.
- Comply with Discord’s terms and applicable law.
You may remove Tirly from your server at any time from Discord’s settings.
09 Plans and payments #
Tirly is free. A paid API is coming soon; its price will be announced before anything is charged.
Tirly is free for players and for community use of the product. Before you subscribe to anything, we will disclose price, payment method, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms.
10 Intellectual property #
- The Tirly name, the cat, badges, illustrations, design, and software belong to the operators of Tirly or to our licensors. You may use them only inside the service and share your profile and badges as Tirly displays them.
- Game and Discord names, logos, and images belong to their respective owners and are shown only for identification.
- If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to compensate you.
11 Privacy #
How we process your data is explained in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
12 Blockchain records #
Tirly may record badges on the Stellar test network (testnet). These records are public, have no monetary value and may be reset by the network. In no case are badges financial instruments or an investment, and Tirly does not offer earnings for playing.
13 Availability of the service #
Tirly depends on Discord and other providers. It may have outages, errors, or changes, and parts of the service may become unavailable if Discord changes its terms or technology. We make reasonable efforts to keep it running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. While Tirly is in pilot or early release, the service is offered on a trial basis.
14 Liability #
To the extent permitted by law, Tirly is not liable for:
- The conduct of other users, organizers, or servers.
- Failures or decisions by Discord, games, or other third-party services.
- Loss of XP, badges, or ranking positions due to technical failures, without prejudice to our reasonable efforts to restore them.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that Chilean consumer-protection law or other mandatory rules grant you and that cannot be waived.
15 Suspension and termination #
You may stop using Tirly and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account, or remove Tirly from a server, if these terms are breached, if the law or Discord requires it, or if we stop offering the service. When possible, we will give notice first and explain the reason.
16 Changes to these terms #
We may modify these terms. If a change is material, we will announce it on tirly.xyz and, when appropriate, inside Discord, at least 14 days in advance. If you keep using Tirly after that date, you accept the new terms; if you disagree, you may delete your account.
17 Governing law and disputes #
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts in Chile, without prejudice to consumers’ right to bring claims before the court that the law allows.
